Anna Kendrick and Justin Timberlake have been working on the brand new movie "Trolls" recently, but things got a wee bit awkward at the premiere.

The plan for the “Trolls” premiere in London this week was for the two stars to walk the rainbow red carpet and light up the London Eye in celebration of the movie that birthed “Can’t Stop The Feeling".

But when it came time to press the big red button that lights up the iconic London landmark, nothing happened, leaving Timberlake and Kendrick standing awkwardly on stage in front of a crowd of cheering fans and reporters.

Anna couldn't help but laugh during the awkward silence, while Justin tried to speak to the audience about the unfortunate situation:

“And all the power goes out,” Timberlake quipped in the video.

According to the stars’ social media posts, the crew was eventually able to light up the Ferris wheel with the colours of the rainbow.

We lit up the London Eye tonight!! ❤️💛💚💙💜💗 #dreamworkstrolls
