Taylor Swift pulls music from Spotify

<p>There's a new music economy, but mega-star Taylor Swift doesn't want to be part of it.</p> <p>She's taken her work off low-royalty streaming service Spotify, saying valuable things should be paid for, and should not be available free or virtually free.<br /> <br />CNN's technology expert Samuel Burke says artists are trying to balance getting a little bit of money for their music by streaming it, as well as tapping into those people willing to pay for downloading off iTunes.</p> <p>But he says they're fighting a losing battle.</p> <p>"Streaming is the future, CDs are already the past, and quickly now even iTunes and services like iTunes where you pay for individual songs and albums are also a part of the past."</p>
