Boxing legend "Iron" Mike Tyson may be heading back to the boxing ring at the ripe age of 53.

The former heavyweight boxing champion shared a video to social media of a training session he had, and it's clear he can still be known as "The Baddest Man on the Planet".

The video showed Tyson thumping blows into pads and the body of his trainer, with the sounds being compared to gunshots.

The video caught the attention of plenty, including UFC commentator Joe Rogan and Hollywod star Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.

"OH S***!!! Don't get me excited about this!!! Mike Tyson is ready for 12 rounds right now," UFC commentator Joe Rogan wrote.

The Rock also chimed in with some inspirational words to Tyson.

"My brother you got me ready to run thru a MF wall right now. To the gym I go", he commented.

Speaking on an Instagram Live with rapper T.I. he said: "I've been hitting the mitts for the last week.

"I've been working out, I've been trying to get in the ring, I think I'm going to box some exhibitions and get in shape.

"I want to go to the gym and get in shape to be able to box three or four-round exhibitions for some charities and stuff.

"Some charity exhibitions, make some money, help some homeless and drug-affected motherf****er like me.

Tyson retired from boxing in 2005, with his record standing at 50 wins and 6 losses. 44 of those wins coming via knockout.
