Rock & Roll Hall of Famer, Jeff Lynn says he has a collection of 2,000 cassettes containing unreleased recordings by his band Electric Light Orchestra - but no player with which to listen to them.
Having released ELO's fourteenth studio album 'From Out of Nowhere' just last month, one would hope more music is around the corner as soon as this treasure trove gets uncovered.
In an interview with the Daily Star, Lynne mentions "[He] must have about 2,000 cassettes that I still haven't listened to for about 20 years."
When asked if these will ever get uncovered, Lynn replied with "I haven't got a cassette player for a start! I would love to check some of those really old ones out because there might be something I really love in there now."
Lynne, who 'reactivated' ELO in 2014 recently said he found himself surprised to be back on tour with the band, but the experiences have been unexpectedly positive. "The crowds have been just beyond belief, beyond what I ever imagined it would be."
