It's 18 years today that a 16-year-old teenager named Britney Spears took to California's Venice High School which is the same school used for Grease. It was in Venice High School that Britney filmed her debut single "Hit Me Baby One More Time." This was a defining moment in what ended out being one of the most successful pop careers ever.

Britney took to social media to share a throwback shot of her on set of the school alongside director Nigel Dick. "Nigel Dick, director of Baby One More Time. First ever music video... 18 years ago. Most precious day of my life!!!!" she wrote in the caption.

Nigel responded to Britney's throwback saying "Thanks for the shout-out Britney. It was a fun three days. At the time there were people who questioned why I would think of making this video for an unknown 16-year old," he wrote. "I told them the song was going to be massive and that you had something special. So glad you showed 'em I was right!"
